Do You Know How to EAT a Gingerbread House?

Well, our boys do & thanks to Annie they had a chance to showcase their skills. Just thought everyone would enjoy these pictures.

Going in for the kill-let's just say they went "whole hog" and loved every minute of it. They literally ate the whole thing. The crumbs that were left were devoured in minutes. For those of you who don't know-Annie makes the BEST gingerbread, the BEST!

Jared's BIRTHDAY he's ONE now!

Look -not only was it his 1st "real food" now it's his favorite! No one at the party seemed to mind-except his mom, b/c he smeared his pizza ALL over his new warm-up suit.

Don't worry, we won't give him the pocket knife until after he learns - it's not food.

We went camping with the Branch in late June (22nd) out by Mt. Mitchell.

Eating while sleeping

Grant is a funny kid; nothing motivates this boy more than food. The first thing he does when he wakes up is run to the kitchen to look for his next fix. Because of this we bought a refrigerator latch to keep him out of the fridge. About 3 days after having the latch installed we found the fridge open with Grant inside and the latch busted. We now have two straps on the fridge and he has yet to penetrate our fortress but he has figured out how to get food off the top of the fridge now.

We caught him the other day fighting sleep so that he could finish his chili and cornbread and we were lucky to catch some of this on video.

We caught him a few days later eating a bowl of cereal with his eyes closed. He even drank the milk when he was done, I guess it's something that comes easier with practice.

This boy cracks us up and we love him for it!
